More Automation Added to Deburr Product

We have successfully added more robotic arms to our deburring department. The addition of a UR-10E with the dual gripper - incorporating both sanding and fixed tool deburring. This continues to reduce our deburring cycle time and increase our productivity. Being able to utilize lights out deburring has allowed us to capture 4 more hours of production each day.

Hexagon Absolute Arm (7 Axis device)

MGI has placed its first order for the Hexagon Absolute Arm (portable cmm). We have purchased two arms to facilitate more inspection at the in-process stages of manufacturing. After several meetings and demos, we feel this product will greatly increase the speed of our inspection and increase the frequency.

It is our intent to deploy this to the operator level on the floor and allow each person to become technical with the arms

This product will be deployed across two of our facilities
